We've been using EC Canines since 2012 and our dog just loves them!

All our training is based around positivity and reward, allowing your dog to learn in manageable steps and setting them up for success.
This creates a happy dog that is willing to learn and will continue to work hard for you.
Each and every dog is treated as an individual, they all learn at different paces and for different reasons. There is no right and wrong in our training, just easy and difficult.
With the right encouragement any dog can learn anything.
The staff here is amazing and they really do treat your animals as their own!

Yep, it's true. I have a chi-tzu and he's my furbaby. Owning my first dog is challenging. But, not with EC Canines in the picture! They make sure he's happy and it shows.

Though I didn't grow up with dogs (i had a pony instead) I have been obsessed with them from a very early age. After numerous hamsters (to 'prove' I could look after a pet, I finally got a dog at the age of 16. Teaching her tricks and learning agility became my new hobby.
After doing animal care at college I decided to broaden my horizons and took up farming for a bit. My 2nd dog became a sheepdog (of sorts) though he preferred cows.
Unfortunately once I left the farm there were no cows for him to herd.
I then decided to take up dog training full time.
After extensive research I settled on the IMDT, who could give me the practical experience as well as the knowledge through the courses they run.
Unfortunately several moves followed, preventing me from settling down and getting regular classes running, though they have been on and off over the years whenever I felt I was staying. I have continued doing one to ones throughout this time and have had many happy owners and positive feed back
I took up Flyball and set up Duchy Dashers Flyball Club (my bit on the side). After a few up and downs it has become extremely successful.
Now it is time to unleash my training powers once more on the general dog population
I started EC Canines over 5 years ago and our mission and goal has always stayed the same: take care of my customers' pets like they're my own. And that means training the dogs and helping you to have the hound that you always wanted.
We routinely walk, play and train your animal to make sure that they're not just getting love, but they're also getting the best out of all situations.
